International collaboration established at Euprera Spring Symposium
Euprera Spring Symposium took place at Ghent, Belgium, on February 27-28. It offered the opportunity for setting up an international collaboration between Romanian researchers, Dr. Alina Bârgăoanu, the President of the Evaluation and Quality Commission in the National School of Political and Administrative Studies, and Dr. Nicoleta Corbu, the director of the Center for Research in Communication, and an international team which includes partners from Nederland, Germany, Slovenia, UK, Poland.
Dr. Henk-Jan Rebel from the University of Applied Sciences in Utrecht had the initiative of this collaboration for a long-term project on the topic of EU-related policies and the way information is transmitted within the European Union. Positioned in mass communication field, this project aims at bridging together findings in different countries of the EU, following a common methodology, in order to establish ways of improving EU communication within its members.
Euprera Spring Symposium in Ghent was the opportunity for the members
of the project to meet and to set things up for further development. They
are all planning on meting for a second reunion in July, at BledCom Symposium,
in Slovenia.
