Thursday Meetings inauguration
Thursday Meetings is the name of a weekly activity initiated by the Center for Research in Communication, that aims at presenting, each week, a short conference on topics related to communication, public relations, research projects, advertising etc. It is the opportunity for national and international partners and invited professors to make known their works and preoccupations, as well as for professors of the National School of Political and Administrative Studies to present their research to the students and their colleagues.
The first conference, that also represented the inauguration of the series of conferences called Thursday Meetings, was given by Dr. Dana Popescu Jourdy, Associated professor at University Lyon 2, France, and member of the research group ELICO, invited by Associated professor dr. Anne Marie Codrescu. The topic chosen by the guest speaker was Communication and Solidarity: New Mediation Models. The presentation focused on the concept of “solidarity” and humanitarian actions, from the perspective of communication theories. The presentation was followed by a long series of questions, comments and remarks by the professors and students who attended the conference.
We welcome everybody who is interested in the topics presented in the
conferences held every Thursday, room 111, from 2 p.m to 4 p.m., to
participate to our future events.
